Redemtion scene thingy

In the “Redemption” scene, where Max questions Furiosa on why she left the Green Place, the director uses the aspect of cinematography cleverly to convey the trust-building between the two primary characters. In the scene, the camera cuts to a two shot between Max and Furiosa who are in the War Rig talking about the Green Place, the director makes the camera start as a close-up of Furiosa for the audience to understand her past more, this is to show that she is just thinking about her, thought after we cut to Max asking why she left. When it cuts back to furiosa the camera pans out slowly, this is done to show that she is now allowing herself to trust other people. Although when she says this is for her redemption, it cuts to Nuxx this is done to show he is also looking for redemption, on his blind loyalty to someone/something that has led him the wrong way. When the bug crawls up onto Nuxx’ finger he looks at it for a second before eating it. This shows that he now sees life as a thing to look forward to which is why it takes him a second to eat it. This is because even though this will help sustain him, he still is ending a life and he sees that now. The way the director shows these similarities between Nuxx and Furiosa while keeping them unique in their own aspect. The effect that we as an audience have from this scene is we find how tragic the lives have been for all of the characters, because of this we become more emotionally developed to the cast as a whole. The way this scene works extremely well is because the non-diegetic string gives this swelling feeling in our hearts. So when the music stops on a dime when Furiosa says “redemption” this shows this means so much to her. The subliminal messages we get from this scene hints to the obvious changes going through the whole main cast and they realize that freedom may be coming.

Questions

How does viewing this text through a child’s perspective change the way we experience it?

-Viewing this through a child's perspective it seems as if the children are very manipulative into believing what adults do and are easily controllable

How would this text be different if it were told from the perspective of an adult? How would the audience’s experience be different?

- /f it were to be from an adult perspective, everything would seem to be exposed and as the audience we would experience a lot more behind the scene scenarios.

why was a treaty needed

In 1830 there were 100 thousand Māori and 300 thousand Europeans living in New Zealand. The behavior of the Whalers, the Missionaries’ desire to help protect Māori rights and the Musket Wars were reasons that a treaty was needed. The Declaration of Independence was another contributing factor to the need for a treaty. One reason that a treaty was needed was the lawless behavior of some of the British Settlers. Another reason that a treaty was needed was to protect Māori rights. One group that felt strongly about this was the missionaries. Another reason that a treaty was needed was the Musket Wars. The final reason that a treaty was needed was the existence of the Declaration of Independence. In conclusion, a treaty was needed because of all the illegal things that were happening and the overuse of alcohol, prostitution and more.

Is Sport better than Music. (essay writting)

(NOTE THIS IS NOT FINISHED)

I personally feel both are great.

Music is an awesome entertainment source. For me, music is good because some musicians stand out for their use of lyrics. Music can also have a big effect on other people not just from the beat or rhythm in which the song plays, but inside the lyrics of the song. A well known musical artist/rapper, “Tupac Amaru Shakur” is a great example for telling real-life problems and transferring them into a song, this can help others open up about relatable problems and feel less insecure, that's what I think one of the way’s music is good. Another way I think that music is good is that it can fill up an empty atmosphere and give off good vibes and fixed moods.

The Hunger Games - Theme analyse

(NOTE THIS POST IN NOT FINISHED)

(Rich vs Poor)

Rich vs Poor is shown when Katniss and Peeta arrive at Panam on the train. When they arrive you immediately notice the difference from District 12, They're all in bright/rich clothing, wigs, and excessive make-up whereas in Katniss's District they're in handmade overworn and dull clothing. when they enter The Capitol you see the use of technology, light whites, blues, and various metals to give the audience the feeling of a clean, wealthy society they own. In District 12 they have none of what The Capitol own.

Another huge scene that shows the theme Rich vs Poor in a similar way is shown in the arena when Katniss is all alone trying to survive whilst District 1 and 2 are in alliances, also showing a way that she's poor.

(Struggle for Power)

We see Struggle for Power in the arena when Katniss is out hunting and looking for resources to survive whereas District 1 is out in the open with all the resources such as food and threatening like weapons enough to last weeks. That can relate to Struggle for Power but to survive because they are limiting the resources that others have access to for there survival.

Another scene that shows the theme Struggle for Power that could've ended tragically took place in the arena. The two tributes Katniss and Peeta had so low power and respect from other districts that they wanted to end it by threatening to eat the nightlock berries at the end of the game because they couldn't get what they wanted to not kill each other, doing that President Snow decided to keep two winners whilst getting rob off his will for one.
